UNDER 18'S
PREMIER DIVISION
Quorn Juniors are now clear favourites to claim the under 18 title after the latest results went their way after the demolition of Mowbray Rangers, Jack Richardson and manager James Price led the way both completing hat-tricks with Will Richards chipping in with two and one apiece from Ross Wormleighton and Ady Ayayi in the 10 - 0 romp.
AC Wigston produced an amazing late comeback against Kingsway Rangers to throw the Under 18 Championship wide open again. The sides went in level at 1-1 at half time with leading scorer Tom Mansfield leveling Aaron Soper's fine opener for Wigston. Kingsway then looked to have secured the points as Wigston found themselves 3-1 down with just ten minutes remaining before an amazing period of play saw the game turned on its head. Firstly Wigston forced a penalty and Dean Wade squeezed his shot passed Ashley Metcalf in the Kingsway goal. Substitute Joe Gilbert then kept his cool in a crowded penalty area to force home the equaliser - his first goal in four years at the club. Kingsway looked to have won it again when a corner was forced in, only for the referee to rule that the Wigston keeper Ross Marsden had been unfairly impeded. With seconds remaining Wigston's Sam Shiels forceful run was ended unfairly in the Kingsway area and Wigston were awarded a penalty with what would clearly be the last kick of the game. Dean Wade again stroked home the penalty, but the drama was not complete as the referee ordered a retake due to the encroachment of Wigston players. Wade though kept his cool and smashed the kick into the corner of the net to win Wigston the points. The most of dramatic of wins for Wigston even without injured captain Austin McNulty and a barely fit midfielder Nathan Keizer.

Asfordby Amateurs won at home against Allexton & Tennant with two goals scored by Callum Parsley, Syston Town recorded a 5 - 1 success over Westfield Wanderers and Kegworth Imps could only share the points against bottom club Queniborough Juniors with Alax Fisel, Matt Shelley and Joe Bakes scoring for the home side, the Queniborough's goals were scored by Steven Mitchell (2) and Nathan Payne.
