UNDER 18'S PREMIER
DIVISION AC Wigston's run at the top of the Under 18 Premier Division almost
came to an end at Hinckley United. After a tight, physical first -half Hinckley
deservedly took the lead mid-way through the second period when Daniel Flint latched
onto a clever through ball before slotting home under Ross Marsden in the Wigston
goal. Hinckley threatened to increase their lead until a Wigston free-kick in
the closing minutes caused panic in the home box, allowing Lewis Madelin to force
home the equaliser. Kingsway produced some fine attacking football to record

against Beaumont 04 and it was Loughborough who had the opportunity to go ahead
when they were awarded a penalty after Dan Jelley was bought down in the box after
15minutes, Unfortunately the shot went wide. It was then Beaumont who went in
front, by 3 goals, the 1st from a corner 10minutes from halftime, the 2nd shortly
after with the 3rd coming just after the restart. Dynamo continued to battle and
we're rewarded midway through courtesy of a goal from Patrick Allihn and a 2nd
when a cross from Lloyd Robinson hit the back of the net. Dynamo nearly found
the equaliser in the dying seconds when a shot from Patrick Allihn hit the inside
of the post, but it wasn't meant to be. 3-2 the final score. Enderby 2000

16 PREMIER DIVISION Aylestone Park recorded their first victory
of the season, with a 3-1 win at Blaby and Whetstone. Despite dominating the game
for long periods, park fell behind midway through the 1st half. They were soon
level when a fine flick on by James Ireland put Wes Potter in the clear who finished
in fine style for his 1st goal for the club. The second half saw lots of park
pressure, however they were denied on many occasions by Blaby keeper Ricky Johnson
who was in fine form. Aylestone eventually got the break through a low drive from
Devin Pankhania beat the unlucky Johnson in the Blaby goal. Park saved their best
till last when a rasping shot from James Ireland in the last few minutes flew
into the top corner Syston Juniors continue their impressive start to the
season with a fine 3-1 victory over Mowbray Rangers. Syston were quickest out
of the blocks and were 2 up within 5 minutes. The first goal came when Mitch Williams
finished a fine move with a low shot which beat the keeper. Jamie Allen scored
the 2 nd a couple of minutes later when he lobbed the keeper. The best was yet
to come, following a 6 man move which started when a Mowbray attack was defended
and ended with Alex Honour scoring a tap in. Mowbray were gifted an own goal to
get back in the game and it finished 3-1 at half time. Despite Rangers never giving
up, no more goals were scored and Syston's lead never really looked threatened. Loughborough
Dynamo rediscovered the fluency that has been largely absent this season in running
out deserving winners by three goals to nil against Royce Rangers at Nanpantan
today. Two goals from Morris and a cracker from Tom Duggan capped a fine first
half performance where both players caused Rangers problems. Scott, on the left
wing, was influential and two fine saves from Carter in the Dynamo net kept a
Rangers side at bay that was determined to go down fighting. Scott and Duggan
combined well on the Dynamo left to create a number of chances with Duggan feeding
Morris for the first goal and Scott putting in Morris for the third. The second
was a piece of individual skill from Duggan rounded off with a fierce shot from
the left. Bennett and Munaim were industrious in midfield and their work rate
and distribution were the foundation of Dynamo's performance. Playing into the
teeth of a stiff breeze Loughborough did not have things all their own way in
the first half and as early as the eighth minute a long kick from the Rangers'
goalkeeper beat the Dynamo defence and let Rangers through. Only a fine diving
save from Carter prevented a certain goal. It was Carter to the rescue in the
second half as some untidy defending let Rangers through on goal and only a diving
clearance with an outstretched boot kept the ball out of the net. Dynamo had a
further chance on seventy minutes as Bennett met an O'Mara free kick at the near
post and put the shot over the bar. This was a much better performance from Loughborough
and should give them a platform for the games to come. The other game in the
premier division saw Countesthorpe athletic take on saffron dynamo with the game
ending 1 - 1 in the first half athletic had the hill advantage but could not make
any in roads in to the dynamo box with the wind any Ariel ball went easily astray.
After a good half time team talk Both teams came to produce some fine football
keeping the ball on the floor after 20 minutes dynamo drew first blood taking
a one nil lead this kicked athletic on and they leveled when Tom Weaver caught
the keeper off his line to grab the equalizer, both teams the went in search of
the winner with time running out it ended all square. DIVISION ONE With
their best performance of the season so far, Sileby Town ran out 3-0 winners.
Lutterworth put in a spirited performance but could not cope with Sileby's sustained
attacking football. Sileby came close in the first ten minutes when Conor Simpson
had a fine header just glance past the goal post. Lewis Maxfield also came close
with a long range effort. After twenty five minutes Lewis Maxfield put Sileby
ahead when just inside the penalty area he looped the Lutterworth keeper. Ten
minutes later Conor Simpson doubled Sileby's lead. Simpson out jumped the Lutterworth
defender to send a powerful header into the corner of the Lutterworth net. In
the second half Sileby town kept the pressure on the Lutterworth defence with
Conor Simpson sending a glancing header crashing off the Lutterworth crossbar.
Lewis Maxfield also coming close with a volley and Ben Ward clipped the post.
With fifteen minutes remaining Sileby scored their third and final goal. Goalkeeper
Tom Needham drilled a powerful drop ball through the Lutterworth defence, Conor
Simpson reacted quickly and sprinted forward and forced the Lutterworth centre
half to give away a penalty kick. Lewis Maxfield coolly scored from the resulting
penalty. Beaumont town had to settle for a share of the points when they could
not produce the winner Jake Marriott scored a brace for the home team with Liam
Aubrey and Ben Mason replying for Wigston Youth. The final fixture in the division
was between Leicester Nirvana and Westfield Wanderers the away team managing to
secure all three points the home goals were scored by Thomas Astle. DIVISION
TWO Wigston just edged this game with some great football in the first 25minutes.They
took the lead on 12 minutes with a Barwell defender heading into his own goal.
It was 2-0 after 19 minutes when Wigston's M.O.M Luke Gell fired home. On 22 minutes
a great ball from Dan Mitchell found Harold Giwa-Amu who turned brilliantly to
find the net and make it 3-0. With Barwell down to 10 men they dug in and
played some great football. They pulled one back on 60 minutes through Will Oliver.
Woodgate 80 took all three points against Gilmorton with a single strike from
Josh Elliott. Shelthorpe Lions were unlucky to come away from Swallows Green with
no return going down 3 - 2 their goals coming from Roshan Lakha and Ashton Holland
but Jamie Brewin scored the decisive goal for Swallows after Oliver Townsend had
earlier scored two goals. Quorn Juniors continued their good form coming away
from Rothley Imps with a narrow 2 - 1 victory with their goals coming from Henry
Waller with two and the home side's goal from Joe Stanway. It was a day for the
