Leicestershire
started the second half of the season by entertaining a week Kettering side that
were never at the races. With a strong wind blowing across Dorsett Avenue Kettering
kicked off with the wind at there backs, neither team settled for the first five
minutes, and as the game went on Leicestershire started to realise this game was
for the taking . The home side took a twenty first minute lead when midfield man
Tom Weaver hit a 25yard shot that flew into the net leaving the keeper stranded.Leicestershire
kept the pressure on and increased the lead after thirty five minutes when Jamie
Allen got the first of his brace with the half time whistle approaching there
was plenty of good ball from the Leicestershire mid-field so the half-time

was 2 - 0 to Leicestershire.

neat one -twos and slick passing Made the home side look good the goals kept on
coming Jamie Allen getting his second, two fine individual goals from co striker
James Ireland supported by Sebb Archer Fenn on his debut chipping in with a goal,

Joe Danvers wrapped the scoring This Leicestershire side took full advantage of
the situation and they will be tested even more so by the time they take on Mansfield
